Vedettes de Bréhat is the historic maritime company serving Île de Bréhat from the Pointe de l'Arcouest, in the commune of Ploubazlanec, near Paimpol. The crossing, lasting just 10 minutes, already offers a magnificent spectacle with views of the Bréhat archipelago and its countless pink granite reefs.

A regular and reliable service

The company runs frequent departures year-round, with an increased schedule in summer of up to one departure every 15 minutes. The fleet includes several passenger ferries with a capacity of 150 to 200 people. Crossings are rarely cancelled thanks to the relative shelter provided by the archipelago, though timetables vary with the tides and seasons.

Guided cruises around the archipelago

In addition to the regular shuttles, Vedettes de Bréhat offer guided cruises around the Bréhat archipelago, allowing visitors to discover the reefs, lighthouses and marine wildlife (seals, birds) without disembarking. These cruises of approximately one hour are an excellent option for those who wish to enjoy the scenery without a full island visit.

Practical information and booking

Tickets can be purchased online, by phone or directly at the Pointe de l'Arcouest ticket office. In high season, arriving early in the morning is advisable to avoid queues. The Pointe de l'Arcouest car park is pay-and-display and can fill up quickly on busy days. No motorised vehicles are allowed on the island — bring good walking shoes or hire a bicycle on site.
